We are delighted to inform you that Vidrio Financial is a finalist in four categories for the With Intelligence HFM US Services Awards. Vidrio Financial demonstrates some of the traits that the awards program celebrates, such as innovative product development, outstanding client service, and a drive for continuous business growth. This is the third consecutive year that Vidrio was nominated in two different category areas. The categories that Vidrio is competing in are:
- Best AI Managed Platform or Tool.
- Best Information and Data Provider - 2024, 2023, and 2022 shortlisted nominee.
- Best Innovation in ESG.
- Best Risk Management Technology Provider - 2024, 2023, and 2022 shortlisted nominee.
Zac Corona, Sales Director, Vidrio Financial stated, “We are super excited to be nominated across these four categories and achieve continuous recognition year over year for superior data management and risk controls. Vidrio was born from the need that institutional investors required critical tools to increase their portfolio transparency across hedge funds, private capital markets, and traditional asset classes. Corona added, “As investors deal with increased regulations, aging investment technology, and platforms that only address a single need, they are reassured that a solution like Vidrio exists as a unified platform - blending decades of actual practitioner expertise with recent advanced automation.”
These nominations solidify Vidrio’s mission on several fronts. Artificial intelligence is growing across the industry. Large language models (LLMs) and deep learning networks have more capabilities than just improving productivity. Many investors want AI to provide complex portfolio insights, such as where are the most significant risks in my portfolio? or have I missed the opportunity to allocate an asset into private credit? You can see more of our thoughts around artificial intelligence in our blog and in some of our recent podcast episodes for Improving Alpha.
In terms of information and data management, many available solutions exist today but only target data capture or storage efficiencies. In our opinion that leaves critical features out of the equation for investors looking to solve transparency, accuracy, and reconciliation issues. Recognizing these gaps in investment data, Vidrio built a sophisticated data ingestion and management control software that works to improve inconsistent data delivery, corrects data anomalies, and reconciles data received through fund managers, administrators, custodians, and other market data providers. Asset allocators can learn more about these differentiators and more through Vidrio’s data management solution.
Tools and solutions for ESG analysis and reporting are continuing to ramp up to understand institutional investment portfolios that are allocating to areas of the environment, social causes, and governance concerns. Early in the ESG discussion, Vidrio realized the need for allocators to efficiently track ESG data and create reliable reporting analytics across their multi-asset portfolios. Vidrio constructed their ESG approach around both the underlying securities as well as the managers themselves and created customized scoring templates for our clients covering both types of analytics. Vidrio is agnostic to which ESG data source or service provider is selected. If you would like to know more about how Vidrio can increase your ESG transparency for the investments that your team might be considering reach out today.
Can you identify the top contributors to risk in a multi-asset portfolio? How can you track each manager’s level of diversification? Can you uncover which historical scenarios will have the deepest impact on a current portfolio? These are the questions Vidrio set out to answer with our risk management solution. The goal is to compute risk regardless of transparency level through either a time series model or a position-based model. Vidrio also runs portfolio stress tests through several historical scenarios or shocks, learning how factors like interest rates, volatility, inflation, region/country, and more impact multi-asset class risk.
Vidrio remains at the forefront of assisting institutional investors in navigating the markets with innovative solutions for managing advanced data collection controls, risk management, ESG tracking, and reporting. As psychologist Abraham Maslow once wisely stated, "If the only tool you have is a hammer, it is tempting to treat everything as if it were a nail." Vidrio recognizes the value of this quote which helps us to remain steadfast in innovating our solutions to suit investors of all sizes and across all asset classes.
